To all Thunder Cup applicants,
It is with the deepest regret that I have to inform all of you that Arizona Soccer Club has made a very difficult decision and will be cancelling this years tournament. As a club we have considered every reason to go ahead with the tournament. But as you all know there are many obstacles that play into having a early tournament. Unfortunately with the required blackout dates, state and open leagues beginning, it has been communicated to us that making a commitment to the Thunder Cup would not be best for most teams/clubs.
Arizona Soccer Club will reimburse all clubs, which payment has been received. This reimbursement will be mailed to each team no later than Monday September 28, 2009. Arizona Soccer Club thanks all of the teams/clubs that applied for Thunder Cup! It is our hope that we can support any tournament hosted by your clubs. We also apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause your team/club, but hope that you understand the circumstances leading to this regrettable decision.
